For OkiJETs, the two most important locations in Okinawa (aside from your base/visiting schools) will be the Prefectural Office in Naha and the Comprehensive Education Center in Okinawa City. This post will act as a guide to helping all OkiJETs make their way to the sacred Education Center.

By Car (via Expressway)

①		Coming from either the north or south on the Express Way, get off at Exit # 3 Kitanakagusuku.
②		After paying the toll, get in your right lane and turn RIGHT onto route 29 (toward Kitanakagusuku/北中城).
③		At the next light, turn RIGHT onto route 81 (towards Toguchi渡口)
④		Keep going all the way down the 81. You will get to an intersection (Toguchi Intersection) with the 329. Keep going straight and the 81 magically transforms into the 227 going toward the Park.
⑤		Keep following this road until you see the entrance to the Park on your left that is a large replica of Shurei-no-Mon in front of Shuri Castle (this gate is opposite a Lawson)
⑥		Turn left into the park and go all the way to the back of the parking lot.
⑦		After parking your car, you’ll have to walk through a little gate to reach the Education Center which is on the other side of the trees, just past some family graves.

By Car (no Expressway)

From either north or south, get on the 329 in Okinawa City (Awase) to the Comprehensive Athletic Park. There is a park entrance on the 329, or you can get turn onto the 227 to find the entrance that looks like Shurei-no-Mon described above.

By Bus (from Naha)

① From the Naha Bus Terminal catch Bus number 30. Take it all the way to Okinawa City and get off at the YOGI bus stop. Allow about 90 minutes for travel. It should cost a little over 800 yen. (This is shortly after crossing the 81/227, and passing the OK! furniture store on your right, but before the A&W on your left).

② When you get off at the bus stop, there will be a sign shop directly across the highway with a godzilla holding a sign that says “ObJet”. Go down the small street towards the Sign shop, then take a left at the first small intersection (there is a karaoke place on the right and the “Glass Marble” cafe across the way).

③ After turning left, the Education Center will be on your right side.

By Bus (from Nago)

① From the Nagp Bus Terminal catch Bus number 77. Take it all the way to Koza and then change to Bus number 30 and get off at the YOGI bus stop. Allow about 110 minutes for travel. It should cost a little over 1800 yen.

② When you get off at the bus stop, there will be a sign shop with a godzilla holding a sign that says “ObJet”. Go down the small street towards the Sign shop, then take a left at the first small intersection (there is a karaoke place on the right and the “Glass Marble” cafe across the way).

③ After turning left, the Education Center will be on your right side.

By Taxi

Tell the taxi driver “Okinawa Kenritsu Kyoiku Senta-“ (for the Education Center) and if they don’t know where that is, then tell them, “So-go- Undo Koen” and that should get you to the Comprehensive Athletic Park.
